"Great for the price" - Westumbria, Thailand
Exactly what I thought it would be. A funky west hollywood motel experience. down the street from some great hollywood landmarks and just minutes away from Universal studios. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly.

This hotel was right on Hollywood Blvd, close to the subway and bus stops which were a great form of transportation at Hollywood and Western. For a $3 day pass you can ride the bus and subway almost anywhere in LA. I took the bus to Malibu one day, Culver City the next, starting one block from the hotel for $3 there and back. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, they could get numbers for you or anything you need. It was a great place sleap after a long day at Hollywood and Highland to see the Chinese Museum or after going anywhere that there is to see in the Hollywood area. The rooms were very nice, better then any online description. I stayed in the king size bed room with a refrigerator, which was nice and had air conditioning. The rooms could pass for being in a chain hotel. The pool was in a good location right in the center to use, and a good size, although it was too cold to use in March. There is free covered parking although we didn't have a car. This hotel was a great deal for the price, don't waste more money on a chain because this could be one.
